We are so excited to launch the Innovation Hub blog to provide a space for dialogue about innovative mindsets and methodologies and to document the story of the Hub.  Over the past two months we’ve been busy identifying our domains for innovation and preparing to build the Innovation Hub teams.  I’d like to first take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the hundreds of students, staff and faculty who were part of this process.  It’s been so wonderful to work collaboratively and I am so excited to continue this work with you!

What follows is the story of the Innovation Hub work we’ve done to date.  You can also find many photos and insights from our May and June events on Twitter with #uoftinnovate

Learn more about our May 16th Innovation Hub Launch.  You can also discover more about our June 16th Day of Learning.  Finally, read about the process we went through to build our five Domains of Innovation.

We’re busy recruiting for our five work study students who will co-lead each of the five domains this week, and hope to have announcements on our successful candidates very soon!

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me at any time to share your ideas and insight! I’m happy to arrange a call or coffee meeting!

Sincerely,

Julia Smeed (julia.smeed@utoronto.ca)
