“The Innovation Hub has fostered my growth in more ways than one. The environment nurtures technical workplace skills with interpersonal development and self-growth. The emphasis on human-centred research fosters a team full of passionate and empathetic students who want to make positive changes to the campus community.

As the current Research Lead, I value the opportunity to learn from the knowledge and experiences students bring to the workplace or share during student feedback events. Along with learning how to manage and support several research projects, this role positively challenges me to use story-telling and design research to produce impactful insights.” – Tiffany Cao, Current Research Lead

Senior Project Assistant

“The Senior Project Assistant role at the Innovation Hub was my first full-time role in my career outside of my undergraduate degree. I learned what it means to be a leader and what leader I want to be to support people around me. A leader to me brings their whole self with all their quirks, abilities, and skill sets that celebrate the uniqueness of all.

As the current Senior Project Assistant, I am challenged to reimagine project management, redefine our communications processes and branding, and recreate organizational systems that produce high-quality work I can feel proud of. I am always stretched beyond my limits, learning the possibilities of my role are endless, in an environment where learning from failure is welcomed.” – Paul Kaita, Current Senior Project Assistant
