What’s Happening September 21-25 on Stories from a Distance

Virtual Fireside Chat: Upper Year Ask Me Anything

The U of T’s Innovation Hub is calling all first year students into our themed Virtual Cafe for an hour of connection-building, casual conversation, and discussion on all things related to navigating the university experience. Students can connect with upper year students and ask their burning questions about navigating the university experience. The I-Hub’s Virtual Fireside Chats are run by and for students looking to invest in creating a virtual judgement-free and inclusive space for the U of T community to continue to gather, connect, and unwind in. The graduate students from Stories from a Distance are invested in encouraging students to find community through conversation.

FreestyleFriday: Movie Night!

Friday, September 25 at 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Hosted by Ayaan

Welcome to a Stories’ From a Distance Movie Night! Sometimes the shorts played before the movie are better than the real thing. This Friday, come hang out with other U of T students looking to unwind and connect in our virtual space. We will playing some short films over Zoom and have a casual conversation about our thoughts. In all of our sessions, participation is encouraged but never required!
