Research Lead and Program Coordinator, UTQAP – CLNx Job ID 203222
The Research Lead & Program Coordinator for the Faculty of Arts & Science (A&S) U of T Quality Assurance Program (UTQAP) leads an important partnership project between A&S and the Innovation Hub. The UTQAP cyclical review ensures that academic programming at the University meets the highest standards of excellence. The cyclical review, which is overseen at A&S by the Office of the Vice-Provost, Academic Programs, allows for both maintenance and improvement through regular appraisal of undergraduate and graduate programs residing in academic units or those that involve more than one unit.
As Research Lead & Program Coordinator – UTQAP, you will lead multiple teams at the Innovation Hub assisting with the quality assurance process at departments within A&S. This year the following units are slated for the UTQAP:
- Dept. Cell & Systems Biology
- Dept. East Asian Studies
- Dept. Art History
- Dept. History
- Dept. Political Science
- Centre for Diaspora & Transnational Studies
- International Relations (Trinity College)
- Ethics, Society & Law (Trinity College)
- Digital Humanities Minor Program (Woodsworth)
You will work directly with the above-mentioned academic units to design tailored surveys and group interviews to assess the student experience in each unit. Your team will include a total of 18 student researchers who will carry out the research (2 per unit), as well as two student Quantitative Data Analysts who support survey analysis. The data collection will be carried out in fall, 2022 and will culminate in a report and presentation of findings to each unit in the Spring of 2023.

Lead Videographer, Academic Integrity – CLNx Job ID 203420
As Lead Videographer – Academic Integrity, you will lead the communications video strategy and continue the work on the Learn with Integrity campaign by planning and developing a series of educational videos to educate students about specific topics related to academic integrity. You will be collaborating with a team of student videographers and editors in crafting an inspiring, engaging, informative video campaign shared within the University of Toronto Community. You will be working with communications professionals to coordinate appropriate channels to publicly distribute the materials. This work is fast paced and involves managing tight and often competing deadlines and coordinating with various stakeholders and partners. An ideal candidate should have videography and video editing skills, as well as strong leadership and a positive attitude. Design Research Team Lead, Sport & Rec Equity Project – CLNx Job ID 203416
As the Design Research Team Lead – Sport & Rec Equity Project you will lead a team of students to carry out a project in partnership with the Faculty of Kinesiology (KPE) Sport & Rec to explore student and community needs using design thinking. The project focuses on the needs of students with disabilities and those from equity deserving populations with a goal to understand the needs and perspectives of students who are not currently engaged with Sport & Rec programs and spaces. KPE Sport & Rec recognizes that many partners on campus are engaged with students in sports recreation, and physical activities and the Innovation Hub will work with KPE throughout the project to explore opportunities to engage this broader community in collaboration.

Design Research Team Lead, Health & Wellness– CLNx Job ID 203418
As the Design Research Team Lead – Health & Wellness: Non-Clinical Mental Health Supports you will lead a team of students to carry out a project in partnership with Health & Wellness at St. George campus that focuses on the non-clinical programming and supports for student mental health using design thinking. The project focuses on exploring student needs and perspectives about how they support their own mental health outside of clinical services or interventions. This project will inform student-centered improvement and growth of non-clinical mental health supports and programming within a stepped care model at Health & Wellness.
