‘Tell us about being a graduate student’ Call for Participation!

We’re excited to share a call for participation with our UofT graduate student community!

Graduate supervision and mentorship are the backbone of a graduate student’s experience at the University of Toronto. This is why the Innovation Hub, a student-led group which uses student-centric design to improve campus life, is looking for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to take part in virtual feedback sessions on their mentorship and supervision experiences.

These feedback sessions will aid the upcoming Centre for Graduate Mentorship and Supervision (CGMS) in best supporting student needs and creating programming by more clearly understanding the diverse experience of graduate students. These feedback sessions are not limited to those who fall under the traditional understanding of ‘supervision’ or ‘mentorship’ but to all graduate students, including but not limited to, professional degree students and postdoctoral researchers.

If you are interested in having conversations on what graduate supervision and mentorship looks like for you and what you would want to see from a Centre directed towards this, please join us. The virtual feedback sessions will be held from October 26 to 30th, 2020.

Interested participants can visit our SGS CGMS Feedback Sessions website for more information and to sign up for the sessions.
