Stories from a Distance encourages students to find community through conversation. Students can expect to be welcomed into a virtual space (over Zoom) created by and for students looking to invest in meaningful connections within their campus community over the Fall & Winter.
Here’s what this coming week will look like:
ResourceXChange: Asynchronous
Monday, November 23 at 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Asynchronous event, please check out our Facebook page for resources!
Fireside Chats: Growth Mindset Continued
Wednesday, November 25 at 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Hosted by Sanskriti
As academics and life in general get overwhelming, it is extremely important to remind ourselves to stay positive. This session is a continuation of our previous one! It’ll be an opportunity for everyone to learn and share how we can improve the way we talk to ourselves. Let’s take this opportunity to exchange ways in which we can make use of positive affirmations to keep ourselves motivated. Through this, we can remind each other that what we say to ourselves matters and the difference it can make in our attitudes.
