International Student Experiences – First 48 Hours in Canada
International students are incredibly valuable to the University of Toronto and come from around the world bringing their diverse and unique perspectives. International students are a source of strength and capacity for the university. This project seeks to better understand the needs of incoming international students as they arrive in Canada for the first time. Specifically, the project will look at international students’ experiences when they first arrive in the country. What questions do these students ask themselves? What problems are they trying to solve? Answers to these questions and others will allow the University of Toronto to uncover insights that will better support international students when they first arrive in Canada and throughout their early days at the university.
