Job Descriptions

Digital Communications Team Lead – CLNx Job ID 195862 (Deadline: March 20, 2022)

Under the general direction of the Senior Project Assistant, the Digital Communications Team Lead is an integral member of the Innovation Hub’s leadership team, supporting the planning and creation of all digital communication materials, blog content development, project management, and website management. The Digital Communications Team Lead collaborates with a team of students in Digital Storyteller roles who support all the branded content that the Innovation Hub produces. You will be a part of the visioning of communication strategies at the Innovation Hub, while building your skills in accessibility and design. This is an exciting role with the possibility to influence positive change at U of T and grow your leadership and team management skills. Experience in digital media, graphic design, and communications is required.

Design Research Team Lead – CLNx Job ID 195912 (Deadline: March 27, 2022)

As the Design Research Team Lead you will lead a design thinking project for the Innovation Hub. This involves working with a campus partner on a project that is designed to improve campus life. You will oversee research design, data collection and analysis using human centered design thinking, an ethnographic and empathy-based approach. Based on the design research you will work with your team to develop an inspiring report and presentations to share insights with the campus partner. Your work will involve leading the team to develop a project plan, managing to that project plan, and coaching the team toward project completion. An ideal candidate should have qualitative data collection and analysis skills as well as strong leadership skills, and a positive attitude.
