In order to be ready for a program launch in fall 2023, the foundational work of the Tutor Training program known as UT3 was exceptional. The training curriculum was meticulously and thoughtfully developed in accordance with Internationally recognized standards and will be available to undergraduate students on the St. George Campus as an excellent co-curricular opportunity.
This curriculum development was also an opportunity to collaborate with Student Life colleagues from Mentorship and Peer Programs in the integration of existing Mentorship Foundations training materials. The project involved a very comprehensive set of consultations with various stakeholders across campus and their relevant concerns, legal, curricular, academic and otherwise, and the procurement of an outside vendor for the tutor database. The program has been co-developed, designed and delivered by Jonathan Vandor and Cristina Peter.
