What it is

The Ideathon is an in-person design challenge to learn more about how you work in a team and introduce you to the iHub’s working style. This event is intended to give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in our working environment and demonstrate your collaborative skills using design thinking. The event is 90 minutes in length. 

What we’re looking for

While we’re looking to evaluate whether our work is a good fit for you using this design challenge, we also want to give you the first-hand opportunity to learn about how we do design thinking. We encourage you to come with an open mind and to engage with other applicants. Because it's a design challenge modelled on a real issue, there’s no right or wrong answer. We’d like to see what creative solutions you can come up collaboratively within your group. 

Tips for success

• Be yourself and don’t be afraid to let your personality shine!
• Think about your strengths and work with your team to meaningfully contribute to the design challenge.
• Reflect on the questions you want to ask the hiring team during the Q&A portion of the event.
