Call for Participation: Global Changemakers Project

GLOBAL CHANGEMAKERS DOCUMENTARY PROJECT

Are you a globally minded student at U of T’s St. George Campus? Have you had a meaningful global experience where you’ve impacted change?

This project seeks to feature stories of six globally minded students who have become changemakers through transformative experiences learning abroad. Students who, through learning in new and unfamiliar parts of the world, gained confidence, overcame barriers, broadened their perspectives, and ultimately created impact in areas such as healthcare, climate change, technology, social justice initiatives, and beyond. Working in partnership, the Centre for International Experience and the Innovation Hub seek to share the stories of international changemakers in a documentary short that will be shared with the university community. Documentary participants will share their stories through video diaries, voiceovers, and vlogs of their lives, providing commentary on their unique experiences and journeys. By highlighting the impact that international students make on a global scale, the goal is to inspire conversations about emerging leaders who discover their voices and capacity to create change that truly matters to global communities.
