QUICK STUDENT CONSULTATION
The Innovation Hub offers a limited number of smaller student consultations each year to partners who wish to answer one question or get student feedback more quickly than our design thinking research. During a Quick Student Consultation, the Innovation Hub team facilitates a 1-hour feedback session with a small number of students. We meet with the partner to gain context, and then plan and execute the event. Within six weeks after the session, we provide partners with a brief report of findings from the event to help with planning efforts.
PEER TO PEER CONSULTATION MODEL
Our peer-to-peer consultation models ensures that the final report emphasizes student needs and that our insights address solutions that will genuinely improve the student experience.
LOGISTICS AND FEES
Quick Student Consultations include a session fee and use a Cost Recovery Model. Once we’ve met with you to discuss your project needs, we will advise you on the budget for your session. Typically, there is a session fee of $500 plus a cost recovery of $35 in Tbucks for each student participant to compensate them for their time. If refreshments are offered at the event, the cost will also be included in the budget. Sessions can take place at our location at the Student Commons, or at your preferred location (in which case you are responsible for booking the space). All supplies, materials and staffing costs are included in the session fee.
