What rhymes with U of T? Free!

I think it's a proven fact that we University students love free things as evident by Rachael's post about student deals and discounts and Charles' post about free resources at U of T. This week, here are four more free things that you get just for being a U of T student (three of which you may not be able to use right now due to the lack of free time that comes with the end of the semester). Write for free: Microsoft office It took me three years of being a U of T student to realize that we all get the entire Microsoft Office suite for free. This came in handy a couple weeks back when I needed to make a graph and, being the the history student I am, did not have excel. To get it just log onto your webmail and click the gear in the top right corner. You can even install it on up to 5 computers!  Watch for free: movies on Criterion on demand This is a new thing at U of T just this year I believe, In addition to the media commons at Robarts U of T students now have access to a free online database of movies. If you are on U of T wifi all you do is go to the criterion on demand website and slick sign in and you will be automatically signed in. There is actually a pretty good selection of movies in categories such as Comedy (below)or Action and Adventure (the Chipmunks movies are in this category for reasons that are unknown to me) Visit for free: the Royal Ontario Museum and the Gardiner Museum  Both of these museums are practically on campus and both offer free tuesdays with your student card.  Read for Free: Books at U of T Libraries I know that reading for fun may seem like a foreign concept right now, but in a few short weeks exams will be over and we'll all be wondering what to do with all our new found free  time. If you're staying in Toronto over the summer, even if you aren't taking summer classes, you still have access to all the U of T libraries. In addition to having scholarly books, the U of T libraries also have a lot of really good novels. Last summer I read the Secret History and Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore and absolutely loved them. Both are availible at Robarts. As soon as exams finish this year I plan to read The Martian by Andy Weir which is available at Laidlaw Library. In addition to all of these, the It's Free U of T Twitter is a handy tool for keeping up to date on all the events on campus that offer free food or drinks.
