As the semester winds down and exams come to a close, I have some exciting news to share that will not only prepare you for life after graduation but also help celebrate our collective achievements. We are thrilled to invite you to the Centre for International Experience's Summer Preparation series and Year End Celebration, taking place on May 1 & 2. This event is specially designed to assist you with practical life skills post-graduation — from job applications and securing housing, understanding immigration processes and health coverage. Don’t miss out on fun activities like creating your own art keepsake and getting a professional headshot. Join us to mark this significant milestone in your academic journey and connect with your peers. Let’s make these moments memorable together!

12-2pm: Translating Intercultural Experiences into Global Employability Skills

Learn how to craft a standout LinkedIn profile that supports your job search, career exploration, and networking objectives

2-3pm OR 3-4pm: Keepsake Art Workshop
Create a personalized keepsake art piece to commemorate your undergraduate educational journey milestone

2-4pm: Immigration and UHIP Drop-In Session
Ask questions about your study and work permits, and learn about extending your UHIP coverage after graduation

4-5pm: URent - Finding a Place to Live
Learn some essential need-to-knows for students planning to rent in the Greater Toronto Area

4-5pm: I Wish I Had Known - The First Few Years After Graduating
Hear from a panel of recent U of T International Student Experience Ambassadors alumni about their experiences post-graduation, and ask questions about graduation

5:30-7pm: Celebration Gathering
Join fellow International Students to celebrate all your hard work! No registration needed — just show up and have fun!
