Rally
About
Rally is a video conferencing platform built to mimic real-life gatherings by enabling multiple conversations in parallel - users can choose to join in different conversations as fluidly as they would in real life. They are a good choice for virtual networking, team socials & online communities, best at hosting groups of 10 to 200 people.
The Takeaway: what sets Rally apart from other video communication platforms is that, while most platforms were made to be solutions for business meetings and conferences, it was designed with the social in mind. Stand out features include the ability to easily switch in-and-out of "tables", or dedicated conversations, and a "stage" feature that allows for the host to easily make announcements. A major drawback, however, is that the platform is entirely video/audio based and doesn't have a chat feature.
