Glide

About

Glide is a service that lets you create your own visually appealing apps from spreadsheets while video chatting. Users can add information to a Google Sheet spreadsheet and then quickly turn the contents into an app without coding. Glide also offers many templates, ranging from meal planners and task trackers to wedding planning and podcast apps, that allow you to get something off the ground relatively quickly.

The Takeaway: Glide is a great way to collaborate on something productive with friends or family. Whether you're working on making the next big social network or need a custom solution to a unique problem you have, Glide is a great way to create a quick, early-stage prototype. Limitations include the lack of customizability, limited storage, and update delays, so if you're looking to make a dynamic, real-time app, Glide may not be the solution for you.
