Where Can I Feed My Baby At UTM? Get Full Directions and Available Amenities On Campus!

University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM) can be hard to navigate sometimes. For parents looking for breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and pumping areas, keeping your child properly nourished while finding a comfortable place to feed them can be overwhelming. Don’t worry – in this blog post, we’re sharing simple directions and availability of breastfeeding areas wherever you are on campus!

Academic Annex (AX)

 

Academic Annex, 2nd Floor Lounge
Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding statutory holidays and university closures)
Directions Available Amenities
  1. Go up to the second floor.
  2. Look for signs that direct you to Room 212.
  3. Right across Room 212 is the second floor lounge with a breastfeeding space.

 

*Note: This space is not wheelchair accessible.

Sink for cleaning.

 

Couch, chairs, tables, electrical outlets.

 

 

Academic Annex, Room 224
Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding statutory holidays and university closures)
Directions Available Amenities
  1. Room will require booking through utm@utoronto.ca.
  2. Go up to the second floor.
  3. Look for the signs immediately in front of the stairs that point to Room 224.

 

*Note: This space is not wheelchair accessible.

Couch, table, electrical outlets.

 

Lockable door.

Communication, Culture and Technology (CCT) Building

 

CCT Building, 3rd Floor
Available from Monday to Fridays for 24 hours (excluding statutory holidays and university closures)
Directions Available Amenities
  1. Go up to the third floor.
  2. Walk towards the Department of Visual Studies offices.
  3. Room is located in the hallway next to it.
Electrical outlet under the bench.

Instructional Center (IB)

IB Building, 2nd and 3rd Floor
Available from Monday to Fridays for 24 hours (excluding statutory holidays and university closures)
Directions Available Amenities
  1. Go up to either the 2nd or 3rd floor.
  2. Depending on whether you have taken the elevator or the stairs, public seating areas are in front and behind the stairs. Public seating areas are to the left and right of the elevators.

Maanjiwe Nendamowinan (formerly New North Building)

 

UTM Women and Gender Equity Centre (UTMWGEC)

MN Building, Room 2285

Hours of operation will vary, times can be found on the UTMWGEC’s website.
Directions Available Amenities
  1. Go up to the second floor, either by elevator or stairs.
  2. Locate signs that point to MN 2285.
  3. Locate The Women and Gender Equity Center

Coordinators and volunteers are available to provide assistance,there to provide assistance, availability of coordinators and volunteers can be found here.
