Netflix Party is a new way to watch Netflix with your friends online. Netflix Party synchronizes video playback and adds group chat to your favorite Netflix shows. Download the extension from the Chrome store and access through browser toolbar when you're on Netflix.
The Takeaway: Netflix Party is a great and easy way to recreate movie night with friends. While the extension is free of charge, it requires all participants, not just the host, to have a Netflix subscription which can be a barrier to participation. As it is a relatively new software, it is a bit buggy and not always reliable.
