Often, it can be the case that we flip between being hyper productive and getting nothing done because we burn ourselves out. The key to preventing that burnout is BALANCE, which can be difficult to justify sometimes but it will undoubtedly improve your life and your abilities as a student!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Work as a marathon, not a sprint<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I always try (key word TRY) to start my assignments at least a couple weeks early. Have scheduled hobbies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you don't have extracurriculars and activities that are scheduled into your week, it can be hard to set time aside for them. These hobbies can be whatever you want and some of them might even add to your resume, but they should be things you enjoy and that make you feel your best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Take breaks, even when you feel like you don't deserve them<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Breaks are essential for your brain function. I know it can be hard to justify taking time for yourself, especially when school gets busy and you can't always check everything off your to-do list.
