Long time, no see, U of T! I've been caught up in exams and the culmination of my undergraduate career, and as life goes, the time has just flown by way too quickly. (Exams went well overall, so I am quite pleased).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

And somehow I landed here at this moment, writing my last post for Life @ UofT and bidding you all a warm farewell. I\u2019m hoping it won\u2019t be too lame or clich\u00e9 or sentimental, but since I am all of those things it probably will be.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

<\/p>\r\n

What can I say? I\u2019m feeling the usual emotions one associates with graduation. It\u2019s hitting me all at once - the things I\u2019ve done here, the things I didn\u2019t get to do. If you know me personally, you\u2019ll know I\u2019ve complained relentlessly during my time here. Yet despite the frantic, late-night studying, the vast, overwhelming expanse of the campus, and the inability for the school to host snow days (!!!), I\u2019m still going to miss being here at U of T. It\u2019s served as the backdrop for many of my fondest memories. I\u2019ve fallen in and out of love here, met lovely humans, excellent friends, and learned a lot about myself \u2014 a personal education curriculum that wasn\u2019t taught in any of my science courses.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Oh, the studying. So much studying.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n

I\u2019ve always been a sucker for nostalgia. Naturally it\u2019s going to take me a while to fully accept the end of\u00a0my U of T undergrad experience, move on, and make room for the next one. I\u2019ll be going to Queen\u2019s in the fall for a Masters program in public policy. I am both nervous and excited at the prospect of leaving Toronto for a wholly different atmosphere. And no I still have no idea what I\u2019m doing after that so your guess is as good as mine.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Will be seeing a lot less of King's College Circle and Con Hall next year.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n

I cannot offer any last parting words that have not already been said by my blogging predecessors. So at the risk of sounding too \u201cEat, Pray, Love\u201d: Enjoy yourself, work hard (but pace yourself), do what you love, ask for help, and take chances during your time here<\/strong>. And also READ THIS BLOG. There is a profoundly large amount of resources to make your time better at UofT.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

My very first post<\/a> involved Ferris Bueller and so it is only fitting that I end it with such. Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Still the best advice offered to us from an 80s classic.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
