I've blogged about <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/2014\/06\/18\/journey-to-the-rare-books-library\/\">Fisher Library<\/a> in the past and just last\u00a0week I blogged about <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/2014\/09\/24\/for-the-love-of-books-used-booksales-on-campus\/\">used\u00a0book\u00a0sales on campus<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0Although I rarely have time to read for pleasure during the school year I still like to surround myself with books as much as possible, SO I took another trip to the <a href=\"http:\/\/fisher.library.utoronto.ca\">Thomas Fisher Rare Books Library\u00a0<\/a>last week to check out a special mini exhibit\u00a0of some of the most important scientific books from history that they were showing as <a href=\"http:\/\/fisher.library.utoronto.ca\/euclid-to-einstein-tour\">part of Science Literacy Week.\u00a0<\/a>Even though I'm not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination, I still appreciate these works for the scientific advancements that they've resulted in, and the historian\/bibliophile in me just can't resist an\u00a0old book of any subject.\r\n\r\nIf you missed the mini exhibit and still want to check out some of Einstien or Darwin's work you can <a href=\"https:\/\/fisher.library.utoronto.ca\/stack-retrieval-request\">submit a request to look at\u00a0individual books through the library website.\u00a0<\/a>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2014\/09\/DSCF4167.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21582 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2014\/09\/DSCF4167-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"a shot showing a book by Euclid that has been translated from Greek to Arabic.
