I went with a group of other Transylvanian\u00a0students to the event, as it was jointly sponsored by both the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/trinitycollegedramaticsociety\">Trinity College Dramatic Society<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rainbowtrinity\">Rainbow Trinity<\/a> (whose President,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/author\/haleyos\/\">Haley<\/a>,\u00a0just\u00a0happens to be one of my favourite people in the world).\r\n\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bc80tFJpTuo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\r\n\r\nBefore we left for the show, we had a splendid garden party inside of a common room to prepare for the event. By prepare, I mean gauging how outrageous everybody's outfits were, while listening to trashy Fergie jams. All this while circling around a pile of halloween candy in a room full of fishnets. It was like all my dreams were finally coming to fruition.\u00a0It was euphoric to me\u00a0that\u00a0I was going to spend the next three hours with these awesome people.\r\n\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_21548\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21548\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2014\/09\/IMG_2157.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21548 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2014\/09\/IMG_2157.jpg\" alt=\"Me and Haley taking a selfie. We promise that we're classy individuals.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n\r\nAfter we left, and walked for what felt like a century, we finally arrived at our destination! I then forced my friends to take a group picture. One of their activities involved asking the crowd if there were anyone who had not seen the show before. My friends lied and said I hadn't, and they brought me up on stage along with a few other people. And let me tell you, it was well worth the <strong>antici...pation.\u00a0<\/strong>The Shadow Cast\u00a0delivered an excellent performance. Even more, everyone in the audience could tell that although they were professional, the cast was legitimately having fun with their performance. To say it was contagious would be an understatement. He was excellent, and we all screamed embarrassingly loud to prove it. Like, I wish I could show you guys just how intense me and my friend got when \"Sweet Transvestite\" came on.
