An interesting insight we have discovered is that connectedness means different things to different people.<\/p>\n<p>For some, it means knowing what is going on and not feeling like they are missing out on experiences just because they didn\u2019t know how to find out what is available. Other students have said that a friendly environment where strangers smile at each other or making a friend in a class is what connects them to U of T.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>All of the students we have chatted with have shared great insights and stories.<br \/>\nTalking to students is helping us have empathy for the varied experiences at U of T. When we are thinking about how to make their experience better, we want to be understanding the students we are designing for.<\/p>\n<p>The most difficult part of the process, however, is finding students who are willing to share their stories.
