We\u2019re looking for writers and a photographer to capture our work, share it with other students and staff, and ignite innovation at U of T.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re holding two information sessions for interested volunteers via <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zoom<\/a> videoconference. Join us on Thursday, August 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, 1\u20132 pm (<a href=\"https:\/\/clnx.utoronto.ca\/events.htm?evtId=16768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register here<\/a>) or on Friday, August 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, 10\u201311 am (<a href=\"https:\/\/clnx.utoronto.ca\/events.htm?evtId=16769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register here<\/a>). We\u2019ll explain more about the Innovation Hub\u2019s vision and methods, and give details on the volunteer roles and team structure. (Look under Jobs &amp; Recruitment &#8211;&gt; Volunteer Opportunities)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Thinking Experience Program Volunteer (#150066)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DTEP volunteers will work on a \u2018real-world\u2019 problem with a partner organization on campus, identifying student\/staff challenges and thinking of ways to improve campus life. They\u2019ll get hands-on experience in Design Thinking by attending our weekly workshops, where we\u2019ll train our design teams in qualitative research skills and help them apply those skills to their challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Analysis Volunteer (#150064)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Data analysis volunteers will be assigned to one or two Innovation Hub projects, where they\u2019ll be responsible for the organization and integrity of data and help the project teams derive insights and recommendations for their partner organizations. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in qualitative data analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writer<\/strong> <strong>(#150069)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The writers will help animate our audience and support our design teams by writing blog articles, website content, and other pieces that cover Innovation Hub news, our design projects, and general interest content related to Design Thinking and innovation. They\u2019ll have the opportunity to pitch their own article ideas and work with the other writers to hone their skills!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photographer (#150067)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The photographer will capture pictures of Innovation Hub events, create blog images, and build an image bank for future communications.
