
Reception Experiences at Health & Wellness
In partnership with Health & Wellness (H&W), the Innovation Hub design research team looked at all possible interactions, including virtual and in person, at various points in time to uncover opportunities to improve reception experiences. The goal of this project was to create consistent student experiences with H&W’s reception, whether it be a first encounter as a new patient or repeat encounter as a returning patient.
Fall/Winter 2024-2025
How can Health & Wellness create great reception experiences for students?
We found that students come to reception at H&W with mixed feelings. While students bravely take action to seek care, they are also challenged with their health concerns, and have high levels of vulnerability. Our data showed that students feel a sense of relief when met with care and reassurance. Meeting students where they are empowers them to bravely endure what lies ahead.
