Accessibility Services developed eight adaptive technology resource guides based on common questions asked during assessments by adaptive technologists.
These guides are featured online, ready for staff, students and faculty to discover technologies such as:
- Livescribe Echo 2, a recording pen for taking notes
- MindView 8, mind mapping software for written expression
- Kurzweil 3000 for students with learning disabilities
- Dragon Naturally Speaking for speech recognition
- Immersive Reader for free reading support
- OneNote for recording lectures, note-taking, and annotating readings
Each guide explains what the technology does, why it’s helpful and how it works, with links to videos and demonstrations.
