In keeping with the recommendations of the Student Mental Health Task Force and the commitment of the President and Provost to increase and improve spaces dedicated to student wellbeing, the Health & Wellness Centre in the Koffler Student Services Centre will be undergoing a major renovation and modernization to better serve students.
The renovation, which involves significantly increasing the space available to serve students, adding levels and ramps, revising entryways and access (including elevators), and updating spaces to meet specific service needs is expected to take about two years. To facilitate the renovations, Health & Wellness will be relocated temporarily to 700 Bay Street (Bay and Gerrard).
Updates on the relocation and the renovation will be ongoing. U of T is committed to supporting the wellbeing of students, and this renovation represents one of several major initiatives in response to Task Force findings.
