Perfecting time-management skills is one of the biggest challenges of university. Because there is less class-time and more independent work in university classes, it can be easy to leave work until the last minute. But unless you want to spend the night holed-up in Robarts all-night study space trying to cram a semester’s readings into your head, it’s best to develop more disciplined work habits early! Try visiting the Academic Success Centre (now with drop-in hours at Robarts and Gerstein Library). They can help you develop organization skills, study skills, stress-management skills and all of those other skills you need to be at the top of your class.
