As most savvy university students know, it’s important to wait until after your first week of classes to purchase your textbooks. Because professors often update their reading-lists from year to year, buying your books too early can ultimately be a huge waste of money. The U of T Bookstore will have most of the books that you need (if your professors has stocked the books elsewhere, they’ll tell you in class!), and there’s often an opportunity to save some dough by either purchasing used, or renting your books for the semester.
