We're celebrating all that brings us joy as we navigate the crazy journey that is being a university student. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today I wanted to introduce you to my pets. My pets are definitely what brings me joy \u2014 their silly antics never fail to cheer me up. Mick is my family dog who was adopted when I was ten years old \u2014 he's eleven and a half now! You\u2019d usually associate a big Golden Retriever with being lovable, exuberant, and joyful. His favourite things to do are swim in the ocean, run through the woods, and eat unlimited food. He hates being told what to do, and doesn\u2019t enjoy any typical dog things like retrieving balls or doing tricks!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2021\/02\/Untitled-1.png\" alt=\"A picture of a golden retriever in the ocean with a stick in his mouth\" class=\"wp-image-44023\" width=\"282\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2021\/02\/Untitled-1.png 563w, http:\/\/blogs.studentlife.utoronto.ca\/lifeatuoft\/files\/2021\/02\/Untitled-1-238x300.png 238w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 282px) 100vw, 282px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pip<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few years later, when I was twelve, my family decided to adopt two kittens. The first of those kittens\u2014 who's now nine years old\u2014 is a big ginger cat named Pip. One of the cutest things about Pip is that he loves hanging out with my dog, Mick. They spend lots of time sleeping together and playing. This is a new development, though. She\u2019s a long-haired calico cat who\u2019s very shy with strangers. While the other pets on this list belong to my family as a whole, Moose is my own cat. It looks like he had a big life of adventures beforehand\u2014one of his ears is permanently damaged and the other ear has lots of chew marks in it.
