Jasper is a returning mature student at the University of Toronto. He was originally in pursuit of an undergrad degree in Philosophy, English, and Near & Middle Eastern Civilizations, but after taking a seven year hiatus from his studies in his third year, he has returned to U of T to complete his degree with a shift in concentration towards Public Policy. He has spent the last seven years living on a beautiful, remote Island located in the Northwest Coast of British Columbia establishing the beginnings of a career in economic development. While away from his studies, Jasper found an immense passion for the great outdoors. He has been known to enjoy (both practicing and talking about) backcountry camping, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and sailing. Jasper hopes that as a mature student, his perspective and experiences will contribute significantly to the already rich narrative of Life @ U of T.
