Summer time is the perfect time to do arts and crafts activities! As someone who really likes spending time to create things, to challenge myself, and to learn something new – I find making crafts SO much fun!
When I was a child, I remember that when school ended for the summer – many of my family members would spend their afternoons and evenings trying to do different types of crafts with me. Although it may be hard to compete with Netflix, video games, and the local swimming pool as ways to entertain yourself and your family on a hot summer day – the experiences of making these crafts allowed me to learn creative thinking and hands-on skills – while also spending time with my loved ones. Creating summer crafts while growing up is one of my favorite childhood memories!
