On-Campus Food Banks!

Did you know that the University of Toronto’s tri-campuses have free year-round Food Banks available to students in need? This service is available to graduate, part-time, and full-time students. As well, it can be accessed by anyone from single individuals to entire student families!


St. George Campus

The University of Toronto’s Student Union operates a Food Bank out of the Multi-Faith Centre on Spadina Avenue. To register, bring your TCard to the Centre’s main floor during the Food Bank’s hours of operation, Fridays from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. This location no longer operates a Clothing Closet and is open every Friday of the year except for Good Friday (March 30).

Mississauga Campus

The Mississauga Campus’ Student Union runs a Food Centre that is located in the Davis Building, room 2102. It’s open Mondays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, Tuesdays from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 – 3:00 pm, Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Thursdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, and Fridays from 11:00 am –2:00 pm. Students wishing to register for the Food Centre’s service can drop by when the Centre is open or else email to schedule an appointment. Scarborough Campus

The Scarborough Campus’ Student Union (SCSU)’s Food Centre is officially open! The Food Centre is based in the Student Centre, in room 210A. The Food Centre is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. To register, visit the Centre during operating hours. No ID is required. You can stay up to date with the SCSU’s Food Centre here.
