Full-Time Internship Role
Communications & Operations Lead – CLNx Job ID #249496
The Communications & Operations Lead takes a leadership role in all elements of communications and operational planning and supports strategic and operational planning for the Innovation Hub. The Communications & Operations Lead supports all day-to-day operations, graphic design, audiovisual storytelling, UX/UI website development, and the Innovation Hub blog; creating and carrying out training for team members, coaching Team Leads, meeting with project partners, ensuring project milestones are met, and presenting the work to partners and within the broader University of Toronto community. The Communications & Operations Lead also maintains all Innovation Hub documentation related to operations and communications, ensuring that Innovation Hub procedures and practices are user-friendly, and meet excellent standards.
Internship Details:
- Contract Length: 1 year beginning in Spring 2025
- Hours: 8:45 AM – 5 PM
- Hourly Wage: $35.81
- Note: This is a 1-year Internship that offers full benefits of a USW Staff-Appointed Position

Project Assistant – CLNx Job ID #249495
The Project Assistant takes an administrative role in all areas of the Innovation Hub and our in-house MS Excel Whiz. Throughout the short-term contract, the Project Assistant provides administrative, project management and payroll support to the Innovation Hub Manager. The Project Assistant will also support writing and updating the Innovation Hub process documentation in SharePoint, ensuring that all practices meet excellent standards.

Part-Time Student Roles
Design Research Team Lead – CLNx Job ID #249506
The Design Research Team Lead takes full leadership over one of the Innovation Hub’s design thinking research projects. All design research projects at the Innovation Hub have a goal to improve campus life, particularly for students. The Design Research Team Lead supervises a team of design researchers in all aspects of the project, including data collection, data analysis, report writing, and presentations, using empathy at every stage of the project. The Design Research Team Lead executes the design research project plan and coaches the team toward completion.

Qualitative Data Archivist Team Lead – CLNx Job ID #249497
The Qualitative Data Archivist Team Lead oversees the Innovation Hub’s archive of data, and coordinates data analysis support for design research teams. The Qualitative Data Archivist Team Lead leads a small team of Qualitative Data Archivists that will support team members with learning how to clean data, code data, and undergo data analysis.

Graphic Design Team Lead – CLNx Job ID #249505
The Graphic Design Team Lead takes full leadership over graphic design and visualizing data at the Innovation Hub. All design thinking projects at the Innovation Hub aim to improve campus life, particularly for students. The Graphic Design Team Lead supervises a team of Graphic Designers in all aspects of projects, including creating mood boards, sketching, creating visual designs for print and web, report layouts, visual presentations, and more. The Graphic Design Team Lead works closely with all teams at the Innovation Hub to ensure that they have designs delivered and finalized in a timely manner. All designs, including reports and presentations, are checked to ensure they meet the highest standards in accessibility and design, aligning with the Innovation Hub’s brand.
