PREPARING YOUR PORTFOLIO

What it is

For creative roles, you'll need to share a portfolio showcasing relevant work. Portfolios are generally a personal website, but you can also provide a PDF document, Google Drive folder, or an otherwise digitally accessible collection that shows us some of the projects you have worked on.

What we’re looking for

We want to see portfolios that relate to the type of work that you will do in the job. We also want to ensure that the portfolio is easy to access, and linked directly in your application. Strong portfolios tell the story behind each project; the problem you were solving, your approach and methodology, challenges you faced, iterations you made, and the impact of your work.

Tips for success

  • Include work that's directly relevant to the role you're applying for. Update your portfolio with recent work and remove outdated or weaker pieces.
  • Ensure your portfolio pieces explain the context for the project, your role in the project, the process you followed, what you learned and the outcome. Feel free to include artifacts and details from the process (i.e. your research, sketches, early drafts, etc.).
  • Ensure your portfolio is accessible—and easy to navigate, viewable on different devices, and doesn't require special software or access permissions to view.
  • Have someone review your portfolio before you submit it.
  • Test all links to make sure everything works and files open properly.
