In Spring 2021, TCard Services, in collaboration with Information Technology Services, developed a process for students to receive the Secret Activation Key (SAK) to activate their UTORid via email instead of as a print out at the time of card production. This supported TCard Services’ ability to provide remote appointments and also eliminated a pain point for students who in the past lost the SAK sheet before activating their UTORid (which required some additional steps to obtain a new SAK).
