UeaT

About UeaT

UeaT is officially known as University of Toronto (St. George campus) Food Services. The campus food services are made up of institutional and independent providers. ARAMARK is the central food provider and its outlets can be found across campus. These outlets range in size from a small coffee and snack kiosk to a full service cafeteria. There are also a number of independent, University-operated and branded food providers. The diversity serves to cater to the wide range of dietary tastes and needs that make up the U of T community. See the interactive map to determine where the outlets are located and what they serve.

DINING LOCATIONS

Dining Halls

Most residences on campus have their own dining hall. Most allow non-residents to dine there, but check first to make sure.

Cash Outlets

Most food service retail locations operate on a conventional pay-as-you-go basis. Many of these locations accept Flex Dollars. Some locations, such as the New College and 89 Chestnut Residence cafeterias, charge a flat rate for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Each food service outlet operates on its own hours of operation. Use the interactive map tool to determine a location's hours

    Hi there,
Just wondering who I should be contacting to inquire about becoming a vendor at the farmers market this winter. I am a local farmer and graduate of UofT, and we specialize in organic preserves (i.e jams, pickles, relish chutneys etc) coming all from our farm. Would love to try out the market for a couple weeks.
    Thanks,
    Blythe

    Hi Blythe,
I just sent you an email with that information.

I think it would be nice if RSS could be implemented on the blog. I like knowing what’s happening food-wise around campus but I don’t check UeaT on a regular basis. I’ll probably join the mailing list but RSS would be convenient for anyone who uses a blog reader to check all the blogs they’re reading.

Hi, I was just wondering who I should be contacting if I were interested in contributing with some nutrition facts posters from the Heart and Stroke Foundation Spark Initiative for the nutrition tip category.

    Thank you

    Hi Susan,
You have an excellent point. In the coming months, we will be moving this blog to a different server, and hope to have RSS in the new look.

    Cheers

    Hi Mariel,
Nutrition tips from the Heart and Stroke Foundation sound like a great idea! Please send an email to food[.]beverage[@]utoronto[.]ca

*Note: please remove all square brackets in the above address.

    Thank you!!

I think it would make your blog a lot easier to read if you reduced the sizes of your images because they cause the site to take a while to load. Also, stick to one font style and colour rather than a different one for each blog to keep everything consistent. Avoid using bright colours because they are hard / painful to read.

Lot’s of great info here, as usual! =]

Just wondering though, if you might happen to know of some places I can go for either free or relatively inexpensive cooking classes, whether at UofT or elsewhere in downtown Toronto. I’m stuck here all summer so I figured I should use some of that time to learn some proper cooking skills and give my wallet a break from the take-out bills :P

Hi there. I’m working on a project in an Environment course, and wondering if you have more information about your programs, specifically Lug a Mug. We’re aiming to bring more attention from the student population to the green initiatives around campus.
Any help you be greatly appreciated. Please email me!

    Hi,
I am with the UofT Heart and Stroke Foundation and we are hoping to host a Sushi Class for our November fundraiser on the 25th. I was wondering if anyone was available to teach a few classes.
    Please email me at:
