All week, you will be able to find an earth-friendly meal at Howard Ferguson Dining Hall, Sid's Cafe, Robarts Cafeteria and MSB Cafeteria. In addition, you will be able to purchase this meal in a reusable eco-tray, and put an end to waste produced by disposable containers. Wondering how this program works?
Step 1: This week, stop by one of the four locations listed above. If you can't make it out to the cafeterias this week, no problem. The eco-trays will be available all year!
Step 2: For $5 (plus HST), purchase a reusable eco-tray card from the cashier.
Step 3: When you go to order your food, present your card to the server. They will serve your food in a reusable eco-tray container.
Step 4: Enjoy your meal. Take the reusable eco-tray to class, to your office, to the park...or even home. On your next trip to the cafeteria, drop off the eco-tray and receive a card back.
Step 5: Whenever you order your next meal, present your card, and receive your meal in an eco-tray, again!
The best part of this program is that you only pay a one-time $5 charge, and are able to reuse eco- traysforever. You don't have to worry about storing or washing the eco-trays....the cafeteria staff will take care of all of that for you! Feel free to share your card with a roommate or a colleague. Imagine how many disposable containers you are saving by reusing your eco-tray containers!
If you have questions about this program, stop by MSB Cafeteria or Sid's Cafe, and talk to one of the Green Team reprepresentatives. They are wearing green shirts, you can't miss them!

Hi UC Student,
Yes, the eco-tray program is returning this year to UC and other dining halls across campus. We will also be adding more locations. Thank you for supporting the eco-tray!
